Move on

Following some provocative event, activists may be advised to "move on," or forget about something has reached a constructed conclusion.  This advice fails to acknowledge the fact that the event may reoccur, at another time and place with different actors, due to it being a systemic issue.  It also fails to promise that even if the individuals move on as suggested, that the problem won't follow them around.
