Proof that the Simon and Ice King personalities have been merged.
The Ice King (formerly Simon Petrikov) is the main antagonist of the Cartoon Network original series Adventure Time, created by Pendleton Ward. His typical crime is to kidnap a princess and force her to marry him, which Finn and Jake foil every time. But some fans put a constant emphasis on Simon Petrikov and his relationships with Marceline and Betty, nicknamed Petrikovians, ignore the bad things the Ice King does, similar to He's just like that, because they believe that the Ice Crown is responsible for everything. They may also think that the Ice King would actually make a good husband to the princesses he kidnaps, and may criticize or spit character hate towards the likes of Finn and Jake, and the Land of Ooo’s princesses (mostly Princess Bubblegum and Lumpy Space Princess), for challenging his attempts to “find his princess”. Many Petrikovians like to post images of Marceline crying over Simon, and images of himself angsting over his dead fiancé.
