In July 2011 Caiomhe Ora Snow began fundraising for a roleplaying game "Heartbreak & Heroines", focussing its gaming mechanics on women heros. Initially Snow received a lot of support from feminist commentators, especially after there was an extremely hostile and anti-woman thread on RPG.net criticising the campaign.
However, shortly thereafter Snows ex-partner Jack identified her as an abuser, and a witness to the abuse also spoke up. Bartlett withdrew the campaign.

I also have a set of feminist priors that means giving the benefit of the doubt to the testimony of rape victims. And no basis for an argument of the form, 'So-and-so has been nice to me on the internet and therefore can’t be a rapist.' So I believe the victim."
